This is an Open Comp set that Dave is working on.. I think his take on this cars is fantastic.

He's currently working on the new track design.. which will be 4 lanes.. and allow 8 cars to run at the same time.. though digital technology.. this will include lane changing and everything..

I can't tell you how fantastic these will be when he's done with the research and development stages.

Comments are welcome, I think Dave would love to hear everyone's thoughts on his amazing creations.

I can't quote you the price of the cars, as that's Mr. Everson's decision, and i believe he's still doing calculations to determine the final price.

I can say that they are about 1/52nd scale. It is just about 2" from the center of the front tire to the center of the rear tire, and since most late models have a wheelbase of about 104", it makes them 1/52nd scale.

 Incredible! These cars and the racing system as I saw it on youtube,,,JUST INCREDIBLE! I can't believe the realistic body roll on these cars, and the rear steer they have. Keep us informed on the progress of your 'revolutionary' ideas!

Dave Everson (the creator of these beasts) is currently working on a brand new track, that's larger and will allow for some more realistic racing action. As they are now the cars 'whip' around the corners so fast, it's tough to see what's going on.. and you really miss the cool little things that these cars are capable of.

The number of magnets required to build a track is pretty insane, so it's a costly investment.

He's also looking into ways of slowing the cars down, so the physics of the cars take center stage, rather then cars that just go really fast in circles like slot cars do.

We'll definitely be cutting some new video when the newest track is complete. The development process is quite slow because of the expense required for each advance, and the time required to put it all together.
