Now that i've enough reference photos, i buttoned up the chassis and got it painted. I'll begin hanging the parts on it this week as time allows.







Bare chassis before it was cleaned, primed, and painted.

The Mueller car has been progressing along nicely. Last night I fabricated the cockpit shroud, and it turned out nice. The images below show it in its raw form before filing and sanding the solder joints smooth.

I had to stray from the design of the one on the real car a little bit so i could actually assemble it painted on the finished frame. It will look very convincing on the car.

I primed and painted the white undercoat for all the deck panels last night, and I shot the red today. Tomorrow i'll be able to put the deck panels and rear suspension on the car. Today i'm going to focus on the front suspension components for all 3 of the first Masterpiece Series run.
